Casa Marianella is a local Austin non-profit dedicated to providing shelter and education to homeless families and refugees of Latin America. The logomark serves not only as a symbol of strength & stability for residents who have been through some tough times, but also as a symbol of two separate things uniting to form a solid foundation.
The accompanying advertising awareness campaign is headed by the values of the organization. Type and image combine to convey a subtle sense of ambiguity, leading viewers to the site homepage. Hands were used to symbolize the “labor” of love the organization’s volunteers and employees dedicate each and every day to Casa. Each poster would be strategically placed in a location where it is most likely to have a better impact or where it would be hard to not notice.
